I got my start in business In 1998 at the age of 19 when I started in the direct mail business. Once I had learned to master advertising in the direct mail business (which is not an easy task), I decided to start providing advertising services to others in the business. This quickly grew into an incredible business where I had over 300 dealers (known as affiliates in the online world) promoting all my services for me. All I was doing was creating services and filling the orders that were coming in.
To back up a bit, I actually first got online when I was 15. Back then I just built websites for friends and posted to message boards. Typical teenage stuff. Sure wish we had MySpace back then. 
Things literally exploded 6 months after I made the move, and within a year I had shut down my direct mail business because I had quadrupled my income by running my business online…
I now run several Internet marketing related sites, but my main headquarters is at www.TomeyMarketing.com along with my blog at www.LizTomey.com
